Saltriovenator found in Northern Italy in the Early Jurassic period , and lived in an ancient beach environment. It was a carnivorous dinosaur and its name means ‘Saltrio hunter’ and was announced to the public in 2018. It is only the third Italian dinosaur found and the second carnivore. It is believed to have grown up to 8m long and is the largest known carnivore of the early Jurassic.
